Paper Board Construction Tube

The use of round supporting columns in the construction industry is common practice across Europe and throughout the world. For many years, steel forming tubes were used, which, when the concrete column had sel, could be opened to be removed and to be cleaned. Steel forming tubes are expensive, require heavy lifting plant and their usage is extremely limited. The cleaning process between concrete pours is lengthy and the chemical cleaning fluid used can be a cause for environmental concern.

The paper board construction tube was developed in 1947. In the last decade, its attractiveness and its use has increased strongly throughout Europe. It is extremely flexible, in both length and diameter, it can be manufactured up to 15 meters long and 1.2 meter wide. It is light and can be erected easily by hand labour. Made from 95% recycled paper, the product is easily disposed of after use, as it is fully recyclable.
